The 30-page guide, available electronically only, highlights various attractions within the Hilltops region, festivals, food and wine, day trip itineraries, beautiful countryside photos, transport and more.
Hilltops Tourism and Events manager Mel Ford said it's about increasing visitation to the region all year round.
"We're trying to increase our Chinese visitor market and this is another platform for us to do that," Ms Ford said.
"At the moment it's sitting at a low percentage but it is a prominent market and we're hoping to increase that overnight visitation all year round, not just during peak periods, like the cherry season."
The guide "specifically" targets Chinese tourists by planning day trips to attractions including Chinese Tribute Garden, The Lambing Flat Folk Museum and Koorawatha Falls, while also highlighting the region's timeless farm views and countryside.
It is being promoted across various Chinese social media, travel websites and blogging platforms.
"Chinese tourists are now looking for a different experience, especially outside the major cities" Ms Ford said.
"The countryside is an attraction, food and wine is prominent, kangaroos and other wildlife, golf, and cherry blossoms."
Public transport options and directions for self-driving tourists are identified.
The guide includes a QR code which, once scanned on a phone, links to various blogs on the region written by Chinese Tourism Officer Audrey Liu.
Ms Liu said most Chinese tourists know and visit the region because of its cherry season, however she's confident the guide will help see an increase in overnight stays throughout the year.
"We have canola in spring, cherries during summer, quality stone fruit after the cherries till March, then we're a nice wine region, we have nice countryside food, and we have beautiful farm views all year round," Ms Liu said.
The Chinese Visitor Guide is a first for the region.
