Young's FFA Cup dream has been put on hold and preparation for this year's Football Wagga season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Two weeks ago, the Lions breezed through their first ever appearance in the FFA Cup defeating Bankstown Sports Striker 4-1, and they were due to play Central Sydney Wolves last week in round three.
The FFA, however, have suspended all competitions and training until at least April 14. Lions coach Mark Mellish says "not knowing" is tough to deal with.
"I think it's good to look at the end of the tunnel rather than just pack up and say that's it. Especially for us we have a lot of young blokes and they just live to play the game, or any sport for that matter. It's killing them not being able to play.
"The players are mostly just doing some fitness and I'm working on my training skills, and that was refreshing but I'm a bit sick of it now. As a coach you want to be training your players. The not knowing is the hard thing. If it's all good and we start in a few weeks that's great but if they say not till the end of May than our three month pre-season is wasted."
While Mellish is confident the FFA will be able make arrangements to limit disruption to how the FFA Cup unfolds, he's unsure how this year's Football Wagga season will look.
"There's some scenarios I'm working on now that I'll take took to Football Wagga. It all depends on how many weeks of competition we'll get in. We could do like a Champions League style with pools and knockout stages or just play each other once," he said.
While Mellish is frustrated to have the season on hold, he understands people are dealing with much more pressing issues.
"We were in a good spot and now we could have nothing. We're not being selfish, football pales into insignificance when there's people who are losing jobs and businesses."
Meanwhile, Hilltops Council has banned all organised sporting activities at its ovals, including Hall Bros Oval, until the end of April, meaning that if FFA restrictions are lifted on April 14 the Lions will have to find a new home for two weeks.
The Football Wagga season was due to start the first weekend of April.
