A further 19 fines were issued for offences including P plate offences, crossing double lines and overtaking when unsafe.
Another driver was charged for driving disqualified.
Inspector Jacob Reeves said it was a "sad" result overall.
Two major offences, according to police, allegedly occurred within about 20 minutes on the Lachlan Valley Way between Boorowa and Yass, a 100km/hr zone.
One driver was detected travelling 145km/hr and a second motorists was caught driving 155km/hr, police say.
Insepctor Jacob Reeves of Young Police says it was disappointing particularly due to the fact it is a "high risk" road.
"Two offences stand out to me - within a 20 minute timeframe two motorists were detected travelling 145km/hr in a 100km/hr zone and 155km/hr in a 100km/hr zone respectively. Both were on the Lachlan Valley Way between Yass and Boorowa," he said.
"This road is a high risk road for fatal and serious injury crashes and is the location for the only fatal crash in our sector since March 2019.
"The damage these drivers would do to themselves or others if they crashed would be catastrophic.
"Highway patrol advise me that the majority of drivers stopped lived in the Hilltops or Weddin local government areas and weren't out of area travellers passing through.
"There can be commentary about whether we want to book people. The answer is no. If my highway patrol officers are travelling 500 to 800km a day per car, which they do, on country roads and detect minimal offences, that means the message is getting through and that is a positive."
The NSW Police operation Stay Alert spanned from midnight Friday until 11.59pm Monday midnight.
