On Wednesday night about 7.20pm, Young SES crew members and Hilltops Council staff from Harden responded to calls of flooding on Moppity Road, near Douglas Gap Road about 30km south-east of Young.
SES monitored flooding at multiple locations as the water subsided and council soon gave the all clear after assessing the road condition.
Young SES unit controller Todd Richens said it's important drivers remain vigilant as storms this week have been "unpredictable".
"It's been very unpredictable. We've had a few warnings, storms have gone around us, warnings have been cancelled. There's no warnings at the moment [Wednesday] but they are predicting more storms this week. Motorists are reminded don't drive in floodwater. When there's water over the road it's hard to know just how deep it is, and if there's been any damage to the road," Mr Richens said.
SES in Young were kept busy on Sunday as well, as 80km/hr wind gusts wreaked havoc bringing down power lines and trees across the area.
SES responded to a job at a home on Kingsvale Rd where a fallen tree had damaged water tanks and brought down power lines.
Police, Hilltops council and Essential Energy staff assisted.
Power lines also fell on Yass Street, Young.
