It was a record breaking 75th National Cherry Festival with Chinese delegates welcomed by Hilltops Council, Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke and Member for Riverina Michael McCormack.
Hilltops Council Mayor Brian Ingram has used his Mayoral Minute in the final ordinary meeting for the year to show his and Council's appreciation to the community who contributed to the success of the Cherry Festival weekend.
The proposed Boorowa–Galong Rail Trail has taken a cautious step forward, with Hilltops councillors confirming that community consultation will begin early next year.
